Also idk if this is a hot take but roommates should cater to the person who easily gets hot. If the apartment isn’t at at least 69 degrees I physically can’t sleep bc I’m just in a puddle of my own sweat, but if you’re cold you can easily fix that with an extra blanket or a sweater. If I’m hot what the fuck am I supposed to do? Also we don’t even pay for it so why are you so worried about it running 24/7?? IM HOT AND I CANT SLEEP

The reason i switched mine off all the time was cuz the air conditioner was SO loud in my double dorm. My suitemate always wanted it on & i found out the sound of it was so much quieter in her room. Temperature wasnt the issue it was the loud ass sound
