I’m not the one in this position? I’m saying in general. It’s the fact that anyone would use the blender when others are sleeping without explicitly asking beforehand. It’s about basic courtesy and being a halfway decent roommate. Why is the onus automatically on the people being rudely woken up instead of on the entitled person making loud noises purely for selfish reasons while others are asleep (and at a perfectly reasonable time to be asleep!!!)? Do you not hear how insane that sounds???

My point is that they shouldn’t be forced to even have that conversation in the first point, it should be common courtesy to not run a blender when others are trying to sleep

Bro legit agree with you 😫 My roommate wakes up early and I stay up late… our microwave door is super fucking loud. I get needing to use it and it’s hard to make the door quiet but I’ve been able to manage the sound. It’s super annoying some days. I haven’t said anything just because she can be easy to anger with that stuff which sucks but… idk maybe I’m more complaining about it now. I definitely don’t have grounds to since I don’t bring it up, ig this is me more trying to say I get it 😅
