it’s lowkey soo blown out of proportion, mistress made a tweet sometime yesterday asking if lydia stans were gonna get mad at lydia for doing the mvq pts similar to how she and jorgeous had and lydia fans got mad bc they weren’t really the ones hating on her and then later on (this is kinda confusing bc both sides say diff stuff) this one specific lydia fan supposedly “leaked” a screenshot from mistress’s discord for her patreon and apparently mistress fans ended up doxxing her kinda (pt 1)

or they compiled a bunch of information the lydia fan had posted on her account across time and posted it somewhere (i think the discord?) although the lydia fan says that not all the information they posted was public (including her parents names and some other stuff)😭 the mod team from mistress’s discord posted something on the reddit (where there was also some drama on but i fear i don’t have reddit so i don’t know what all went on there so if anyone saw what lmkk) (pt2)

and then the lydia acc reposted the reddit ss but went thru saying what parts they were lying abt (i think they also said something abt mistress posting a voice note to the discord making fun of the situation and not doing anything to stop the alleged doxxing) and since then mib fans have called lydia fans delusional 12 year old girls and the lydia fans have been calling the mib fans lowkey misogynistic and lesbophobic bc of some of the targeting 😭 i think the lydia fans claims come from (pt3)

the original lydia fan saying that the members that doxxed her were being misogynistic and lesbophobic or something and that she hadn’t even uploaded the screenshot in the first place or something😭 THE WHOLE SITUATION IS SOOOO CONFUSIG AND MESSY this is only what i personally have gathered from twitter bc i’m not in the discord nor the reddit😭😭 mistress deleted that original tweet and has also blocked a bunch of lydia fans on twitter (there’s a screenshot from her discord with her saying pt4)

that she was blocking people w #team lydia in their names and then i think someone else saying that they’re a bunch of delusional/parasocial 12 year olds😭 but recently today mib posted a picture of her and lydia so i don’t think there’s any actual beef between mib and lydia?? this whole time lydia (i think) was posting on accs for her dolls so 😭😭😭😭 idek what else has happened on diff apps but it’s soooo much for something that was probably a miscommunication from mib in the first place LMAO

drag race fans have always been crazy but like i’ve been following since around All Stars 2/Season 9 and it’s gotten so much crazier since then it’s insane 😭 i think season 12 was the first time it made the show actively unpleasant to engage with and it’s crazy that it somehow has gotten worse since then

i started watching around the same time too😭 it’s a lot of people that are fans of drag race and not drag queens/drag as a whole imo…the crazy stan type culture for certain queens has been sooo irritating to interact with, i feel like there’s been one group of crazy stans for a queen each season since 12 for sure

i think she’ll have a gigi goode or trixie & katya reception where the obsessiveness of a lot of fans will sort of drive away a lot of others. ultimately she will be fine but it sucks that she’s kinda put in this position where she has to put up with so much of her support coming from people who also absolutely get on her nerves 😭
