I hate that we are hyping her up. She had substance abuse issues, the guy didn’t want her to go out because of that but was being a dick in the way he said it, and she burnt over half of his body to a crisp and left him in a nearly deadly coma for 8 days. Why are we using this as “empowerment” as women. We can’t talk about malala but we’ll hype up an attempted murder? What it it were the other way around fr. Sociopaths
I mean is this a joke or serious, like you don’t have to light someone on fire just to kill someone you don’t agree with, you can just not talk to them and ignore their existence, much easier and probably almost as effective, less karmic boomerang too. Don’t want to stoop to their level and become a misandrist.
Look into the case maybe before using this to promote feminism! You know who has a go fund me? Women who are actually fighting for womens rights. Not attempted murderers. Donate to the women putting their lives on the line to save other women, not women who refuse to go to rehab.
My point exactly y’all should celebrate and take inspiration from old school anarchist feminist like Elsa Gidlow, she along with the help of some open minded counter culture gentlemen friends (Alan watts) of hers together built a pretty full filling life/community at Druid heights for themselves. Not saying they are a perfect example but it’s better place to draw inspiration from than this depressing case of what happens when you bottled up trama instead of working through it in your own way.
