no one chooses to become a minority. it’s amazing that your family was able to immigrate and survive in america, but putting others down in a struggling society like this one will never lead to any good. putting down someone who used to be in your family’s situation is not only hypocritical but heartless, ignorant, and selfish. watch your ego and check your privilege before hating on people who just want to live peacefully.

It’s crazy to make that post on 9/11. Nobody is denying that immigrants have contributed to America, but acting like illegal immigration has nothing to do with the conversation surrounding 9/11 is ignoring the context of the day. When illegal immigrants are the reason the tragedy happened. You can believe immigrants helped build this country and still recognize that 9/11 is a day to remember the people who lost their lives, it’s very insensitive.

i see your point and i understand why this is insensitive of me. i also think it can be important for us to remember that just because a few immigrants have been terrible, horrible people, not all of them are and they deserve respect. regardless, this was never meant to be disrespectful and i apologize if i offended anyone

you can research it yk. Al-Qaeda was high threat to america in the 1980s and 90s before the attacks ever happened. This was before there was education on fraudulent visas, and passports, there was no security in airports, they entered the country unnoticed by immigration because of that. you can laugh all you want but i haven’t said anything untrue.
