I’m sorry you’re going through this, I was kinda in the same boat but with my stepmom. For some reason she thought all a 15 year old wanted to talk about was politics so I distanced myself from her and she “tattled” on me to my dad 💀. I also don’t get parents that are super political with their kids, ik my dad is maga and he knows that I’m not, so we keep things neutral. I’m trying to hang out with my dad, not a podcast.

I’d say even OG you don’t agree with them, find neutral middle group to stand on. And I’d also recommend not talking politics with them and if they bring it up don’t engage
