Because doing absolutely nothing accomplishes something? Protesting does make change, but keep pretending you know best. 😂

protesting in itself is not enough, but there are actions being done that make ICE's job harder and protests are a great way to build community to make those actions more effective

Nepal is not a good role model, look more towards the Cuban Revolution and the Russian Revolution

No, revolutions make change, protests make concessions. There’s never been a moment in history where major changes was caused by “peaceful protests”

Protests are part of revolutions. They absolutely do contribute to major changes.

No, no. We’re polluting more than enough. We need the fabric used to make them to be upcycled into something useful and with value, unlike those who would wear them.

They are part But they don’t make change Peaceful protesting doesn’t actually do anything It doesn’t convince people who don’t want to be convinced It doesn’t get trump out of office Revolution will Abolishing the government will and that requires action, not protest. There is a difference please learn it

If protests didn’t work, they wouldn’t be policed and attacked. If protests didn’t work, they wouldn’t happen. You seem to not understand that the civil rights movement was a protest, women’s suffrage was a protest, they happen all the fucking time and they do make change. Learn about it and quit bullshitting yourself.

Civil Rights movement was lobbied and so was the women’s suffrage movement— peace is the language of the oppressor, it is the right of the oppressed to enact violence as that is the only path towards freedom

America was founded on a revolution, not a protest. Haiti was founded on a revolution, not a protest. The USSR was founded on a revolution, not a protest. The current Cuban government was founded on a revolution, not a protest.
