Ik this is serve cunt but this is a dumb take I'm sorry. How was the Spotify founder an evil man for selling a music app for upwards of a billion dollars?

Nobody needs that much money though he could still keep a good amount for himself while donating a bunch of it to organizations or charities

I don't think there's a single billionaire who has that kinda money because they wanna spend it. These are people who are obsessed with what they do and if you ask me, what their companies do for the economy far outweighs what charities could do because a lot of charities and NGOs are corrupt as hell. Most countries take money in the name of environmentalism, world hunger, and homelessness and then the politicans pocket that money

Lots of governments and charities look at it like it's a business. World hunger isn't a food problem, it's a political problem - just one example but same applies to lot of larger issues

That's not to say you shouldn't donate anything, and a lot of billionaires do donate millions

That's glass half empty way of looking at it imo. Music platforms have basically made record labels obsolete for small artists who could have never found a voice if not for music platforms. Goth Babe, Teenage Priest, BETWEEN FRIENDS, just to name a few. There's goods and bads. And I think letting billionaires keep investing in their crazy ideas is better than politicians pocketing that money while posing themselves are world savers. Just my two cents though and I totally respect your pov
