Be careful i had an iud in high school and it was colonized by bacteria for some reason (copper IUD btw) and i got bv one day and it took almost a year for my gyno to figure out the bacteria was on the sting and after a year of heavy antibiotics and different antibiotics i just had to get it removed. Now have nexplanon arm implant and it can’t have that happen. Just made sure you don’t have any issues with that. Be safe!
