do you think that because of him or because of past relationships. if it’s because of past relationships you need to work through it (ideally with a therapist but if not, on your own is fine) if it’s because of him than that likely won’t change unless you confront the instances/issues head on. at that point he can change or you should leave

i think it’s a little bit of both, i’m not used to my men actually giving me space because he has a job and works like all day everyday and the gaps between responses trigger me, i think i just need to talk to my therapist

i actually had a very similar issue in the past but i was the one working. it will fade and get better with time. it sounds like it’s not him specifically so much as the environment/situation generally. new things are always scary and can definitely reopen/worsen old wounds. i think this sounds like the perfect thing to talk to your therapist about. don’t forget to give yourself some grace too. you’re working through a tough and painful is as best you can with all of the help available to you
