what do i call my nonbinary friend instead of like bro or girl or queen bc those are like my main three words and idk what to use on them... like do i call them like sibling or they or monarch or something im so confused please help

ask them tbh, I’m nonbinary and do not care when people call me bro/girl/queen when the person uses the term for everybody. They might have a preference or they might not, asking is going to be the best way. I promise it’s not as awkward as you think it might be, I get asked all the time and I never have an issue answering!

thank you for your help, i just dont really know bc most of my friends are like straight cis guys and then a few girls but then one of my super close friends came out to me as nonbinary like a few weeks ago and im like just trying my best to make them feel accepted
