sorry i meant to respond sooner. our project is about social movements/change so my goal is to create a mock system of government that is failing its citizens (my classmates) and then getting them into the mindset of wanting to create social change/a movement. i’ll walk them through the steps and then end it off with comparison towards a real social movement happening.

my mock set up will be focusing on money and the cost of living since that’s received the most engagement overall from everyone in my class throughout the semester. i think my best comparison is right now. there’s definitely a sentiment in the U.S. about the growing cost of living and the corruption of capitalism with a great divide between the haves and have nots.

so ill end that section comparing the mock activity to the actual rising anti-capitalist movement in the U.S. so yeah. that’s the fun part. now i gotta do the slides and prepare and hope the activity works and gets them fired up
