The actual reason behind this is because most men cannot deal with the idea of being alone at those later stages of life and will project that onto these happy single women. They are so miserable and can’t even imagine why a woman would rather be alone because these men can’t be alone themselves and that’s why many of them are super toxic and depressed about it.

I also firmly believe that only men mainly benefit from having women by their side but not vice versa bc men cause a lot of stress to women and will age them bc of that

i’m pretty sure they’re doing studies on this and it’s close to a proven fact. marriage was created and forced on us by men bc they realized THEY would live longer if they had a woman taking care of them
