another reminder to not take nutritional advice from random people online who are not doctors, nurses, dietitians, nutritionists, etc. and if you cannot afford to see a nutritionist in person but still want help, there are many that post videos online

absolutely! but depending on your state, nutritionists do not necessarily have certifications or licenses. they may have some degree of education or training, but the term “nutritionist” is not regulated in all states the same way that a registered dietitian (RD) is, so depending on where you are, someone may be able to call themselves a nutritionist without substantial education :/

yeah it’s one of those things that’s super variable. registered dietitians across the country all need masters degrees afaik, so that’s generally the safest bet if u can get it :)
