We shouldn't do this. Allowing space for someone to admit they were wrong would've prevented people like Hitler rising to power. Objectively, what Trump sold during election time was very different than his actions post election. People bought into that and we need them to feel comfortable saying they were wrong and they were sold out. In doing so they may inspire others; same as us - versus doubling down on their support.
Yes it’s rigged and no why would I still not give a fuck when they’re treating us like cattle and trafficking us? Killing Americans? No I definitely give a fuck and why should we just let it be like this? No one likes the 2 party system and they give us pieces of shit each time so now seems like a good time to change it
while there were definitely some things he ran on that he lied about (such as the epstein files), we definitely knew this was coming when project 2025 was leaked and people still voted for him. MAGA supporters had so much opportunity to realize who trump really was after his first term. that "grab em by their p****" tape has been floating around for over a decade for example, but they decided to vote for him anyway.
Yeah..the 2 party system sucks. And yes, the real issue is a class issue, which they are trying to distract us from. On that I agree. Trafficking and killing is obviously priority one. And the issue too is that, for now, the 2 party system is the rule of the game, so that’s how it has to be played for now, meaning you use your vote to pick the lesser of two evils in the present and work to make change so that we no longer HAVE to make choices like that in the future.
I actually believe Trump has the most agency of any president. He's from outside of the system. Being said, his and WEF interests converge at time. But it's not a foregone conclusion that he’s involved - his actions of removing us from WEF, alienation at Davos and NATO suggest he's actually against global control. Now his actions with this Peace forum with Gaza and Isreal suggest he was opposed to traditional global controlership.
Perhaps, but I have no doubt we will be sold out at the soonest opportunity. He is a clever man, in a way, and despite mismanagement of assets in the past during his business ventures, he is very good at appearing larger than he is, as is often how he secured investors. And further, I concerned that even in the scenario where he has our best interests in economic areas and sovereignty as a nation, that he would compromise the personal protections and rights of minorities and vulnerable people.
I agree on the latter comment about some good wins and being clouded by personal interests (like good wins for WHO) but the first comment… Really? Like yeah the people whose rights are being violated are AMERICANS, yes. But like, they’re also minorities too, a lot at least. I know women are ~50%, but also Black people, immigrants, gay people, trans and whatever else, and these people he has a hate boner for ARE minorities. And they are proven to be VERY useful scapegoats, making them vulnerable
