If you actually believe this you’re upholding the patriarchy. Men are burdened under the system too.

Girl being misandrist to the men doesn’t make you cunty. Kinda disgusted how many of my friends started acting like this and there’s a reason I’m the only one who has any healthy relationship with men.

Girl. Most, if not every bit of emergency service and the hidden infrastructure our society depends on handled by men. At the very least, you’d want to cop pulling you over to be mentally well adjusted
. Let alone the plumber you call to your apartment. Just the two of you alone.. you better hope his mental health is good 👀

I think the larger point is we live in a society and mental health is fundamental; some people respond better to this being put in more realistic scenarios vs abstract and that is what this comment is trying to do.

it comes off almost as a threat and I still think it should’ve been phrased better if it was meant to be convincing, but I get your/their point

Ableism is real though. I can’t imagine the mental gymnastics to go through to think discrimination against men is a real issue but you can throw around the r slur willy nilly. I know damn well you’d be saying the real thing if it weren’t for Yik Yak’s community guidelines.

Yes it is and I have lost men in my life to it. This isn’t cute or funny or cunty. You are a POS for acting like it is.

Lost men in your life to what? How did misandry take a man’s life? I find that hard to believe.

When men can’t value their mental health due to social norms (restrictive gender norms, misandry included) they suffer.

That’s because of the patriarchy, not misandry. The patriarchy says that men should be brave and muscular and never show emotion. News flash. Men suffer because of the patriarchy, too. Everything men identify as ‘misandry’ or ‘men’s rights’ is actually the fault of the patriarchy. Men uphold the very system that harms them because it benefits them more than it harms them. Being able to rape and kill women without much repercussion, for example, outweighs the costs of not being able to cry.

Our president is a convicted sexual abuser and frequent flier of Epstein Island. Monica Lewinsky was slut shamed by the entire nation for having the courage to come forward about being raped by the president. I know you’re being facetious. But yes, the MRA, black pill, and alpha male movements have caused men to be more vocal about cheering on rape than they ever have been.
