Because I just choose to wear condoms all the time instead. Why would I get an invasive surgery at all when we have such a simple contraceptive? I don't expect the woman to be on birth control. I just always wear condoms

I looked into getting a vasectomy but my insurance didn't cover it :/

experts say you shouldn't count on it being reversible, but freezing sperm isn't that expensive and there's no second procedure on your junk if you think there's any chance you'll want a kid
