no, a significant majority of women (like 80% iirc) can’t orgasm from penetration alone. it’s not anybody’s fault, but it’s unfair to everyone to expect it to be possible for all women

I’m not sure where you saw research showing that 80% statistic but I’m a doctor and can tell you all the current evidence on this subject has shown between 50-70% of women can experience vaginal orgasms. I have not seen a single peer reviewed study show anywhere near the 80% statistic you referenced. I hate that any % of women struggle with vaginal stimulation. I would advise talking with your gynecologist and partners about developing ways to maximize your stimulation.

maximizing stimulation I completely agree with you on but why are you a doctor on yikyak? most people who are doctors are too busy to even breathe, must be super slow with all the wrong information you’re trying to give people to make your own self feel better

the 80% was an estimate off the top of my head, but i did a quick search and found a 2018 study that somewhat matches that (18% can orgasm from penetration alone, but an additional 36% said that orgasms are possible without clit stimulation but feel better w it). i assume news publications took the 18% and ran w it. still, if only abt half of women can orgasm from penetration, it still doesn’t serve ppl to act like everyone can. i’d like to read more abt this tho if u have any recommendations :)
