Yes!! it’ll help you learn the weight and texture but also how long you have to work before drying. Start with thin layers and make them thicker (less medium added) as you go. It’ll take a few days to get every layer done and dry, but I recommend Liquin if you want faster drying and a bit smoother pull on your brush. I hope I wasn’t repeating stuff you know good luck!
