I'm not sure if I like the side pieces going all the way down, feels like they're glued to her head or are a helmet

The drawing itself is GREAT but the lighting/shading and colors make the whole thing appear super flat and two dimensional to me. Personally I’d up the contrast, add some more (and darker) shadows (especially on the skin, areas like under the arms and legs) and maybe expand the color palette slightly

I agree, It was so hard to add to the pallet without it feeling out of place, so I played it safe. Any tips on how to expand?

I never thought of this, but you’re so right. Omg I should have made them match the curl of the drills!!
