Thank you so much! Honestly a lot of it comes from trial and error but also studying the people around me. I keep note of the various shapes in peoples faces and try to implement them as best I can. Thinking of the face as a series of simple shapes helps it seem less daunting to me. Drawing skulls helped me a lot too!
