Need advice! Working on a mural in a digital file…it feels like purgatory to wait for the computer to catch up! Any tips?🥺🫵🏽

If you use adobe or any vector based platform you do not have to deal with file sized bc no matter the size you will never loose resolution.

Im gonna be honest, idk about the thing you’re specifically working on but im fairly good with computers. The simple stuff you could try is checking for updates and doing a simple restart. Sometimes it just needs to take a break and be start up again. Something else you could try is clearing out old files, and stuff you dont need. This could help clear out some space to make things move a lil faster. I hope these tips help, if not. Report back and we can try to troubleshoot some more

Note: the file itself is 1/3rd the actual size of the original mural size

Thank you! I’ll try that. It’s a pretty new computer (but the file is like 9GB…so it’s definitely probably me) so I should see how it goes

Just shrank the canvas and assets so I shall see how they do on desktop in the morning. I use photoshop currently since it’s how i learned how to digitally freehand

Oh yeah that’s good photoshop is great definitely shrink your canvas in that case
