That’s so cool! Did you gesso the canvas first or draw straight on the fabric?

The photo initially didn’t load so I thought it legit was a canvas colored completely black (fr great work)

oh i gesso’d and sanded the hell out of it. not gonna lie, it felt super buttery smooth to use sharpie on gessoI really liked it. sharpe on raw canvas, however? awful.
