This is a great thing to study! Understandably, artists don’t want to make accidental caricatures of a group of people, but it’s important to study different kinds of face shapes so you don’t end up with every person defaulting into whatever ethnic group (or even specific face) you began drawing first. I went through this process myself and it’s very worth it!

It’s actually so difficult, I try to make the proportions different and somehow it’s still the same face just weird looking lmao

Try to play with different shapes, angles and sizes- exaggerate them and then chisel back. Experiment lots and lots.
