with how close the foreground is, many wildflower species would grow too tall to fit nicely, but another chick or 3 would be adorable!!

I think prairie flowers are a good idea

I think you could keep the grass but incorporate the colors of the back in it? I think if the colorful grass was in front it would be less obvious because it blends with the background more
