I think this is really powerful, thank you for sharing that!! I really loved the line “building sandcastles just to knock them over”, it stopped me in my tracks, and it was the perfect imagery to try to explain that tough of a feeling. It makes me think of a memory vanishing that wasn’t actually a memory just a fantasy idea. I can’t imagine how hard that was to endure or write but I appreciate you sharing it with me!
