Nahh keep the mud! Gives it character In fact get them a lil dirtier and maybe add some gemstones down the side for at each eyelet or inbetween the spacd

using a cute lace or ribbon as the lace would be cute too!!

And you can either keep those laces and also get them a lil dirty or get some sort of “girly pop” color like bright pink or something Im thinking like glam dirty kinda look for these

YESSS! Those can work! Just get them a lil dirty, and nothing intentional really. Just normal wear and tear on them
