Hey, I had made this drawing, I’m gonna post more of my art in literally a min cuz idk what else to post rn, but can y’all tell me what feels off about this? I think I rendered the clothing abit weird but it’s been bothering me for weeks…

Also the contrast in the rendering on the clothes might be what’s bothering you. Save the darkest colors and hardest shadows for only certain areas of garments that get the least light

I’m definitely not a professional, but maybe the lighting? While the detail in the rendering is good there’s not a clear/consistent light source throughout the piece.

Now that I look at it, I think you’re right, I attempted rendering the characters and the background separately, Wich probably caused the inconsistency.
