It really is. I was going to sign up for an art class until I heard that the professor never gives A’s because no art is perfect. B was the highest anyone could get.

I literally hate teachers like that because they will go out of their way to mess up your gpa and grade record. Getting an A doesn’t mean you did perfect nor does it mean that student doesn’t have room to improve. I don’t think those teachers deserve to be teachers tbh

It just is what it is, he was just following his rubric and took off points for what he felt was lacking🤷♂️ I’m a junior in college, and it’s almost the end of the quarter, so there’s not much room for mistakes lol

I agree with you. Art professors usually are harsh graders to prepare artists for “the real world” where art can be hard to sell or place in any high end museums. I’m not sure that I agree with the sentiment but I understand their role in developing that fighting spirit lol
