I think you need to access the mean side of your brain

I don’t do caricatures, but I’ve heard finding prominent features of theirs and really exaggerating it in your caricatures is a good starting point! for example, if someone has a unique nose shape, you’d make that a focal point, or if they have big eyes you make them even bigger, etc!

You can also try squinting/blurring your vision a bit and draw what you see, at least to start! And stylize however
