I need to do this so bad my Mac book is 6 yrs old. She has 2 degrees worth of information on her and the entirety of the sims and is slowing down so much and has no storage for anything

Well…i accidentally messed up. So I was playing sims 4, and I am using a HDD (which SDD is a lot better but i wasn’t paying attention to my purchase). I linked my sims 4 to my external drive but it doesn’t open up any sims 4, just says it’s already running. Rn I’m playing sims 3 until I have the will to fix my cmd errors.

Steam has one of the easiest data transfer methods, you literally go into “properties” for the game, select “move install folder” and move it to wherever you want, I have the sims 4 on my hard drive and this is what I did
