How do I get rid of closed comedones and stop have such a bumpy face ? I’ve tried tretinoin and I’m now on adapalene

are you using a product with aha/bha/pha? i would look into that. aha (alpha hydroxy acid) is a gentle exfoliant that exfoliates the top layers of skin (good for all skin types). bha also exfoliates, but goes much deeper into the skin and dissolves oil and dirt (better for oily skin). pha is the most gentle form (best for sensitive skin)

you’re using a retinol which increases cell turnover, but you need a product that will remove the dead skin.
