Dude, if you have like - literally debilitating acne - go get a corticosteroid injection. That’ll treat the inflammation and ease the pain in the short term, after that talk to your derm about long term treatment.

For reference, the left is around when I posted this originally and the right is from January. It’s been flaring back up a little lately but it’s still nothing compared to what it was 😭

I had a ton of insurance issues so I ended up just having to wait it out 😭😭 I think a lot of it was hormonal imbalance from going off my birth control since it’s been better the longer I’ve been off it. I do finally have a referral for a dermatologist though (for a different issue lowkey but I’m gonna throw this in) so I’m gonna call on Monday to schedule an appt
