How does retinol work? I got the ordinary products and sunscreen to protect against the sun, but I see it says don’t expose yourself to sun as it will be sensitive but that’s nearly impossible for me due to having to go outside a lot. Should I just use -

You should only be using retinol at night! It’s most effective then since it helps with the turnover of your skin (top layer) in turn helping with scaring, wrinkles, and acne. Since your skin doesn’t have that top most worn layer it’s more susceptible to burning, dark spots, etc. But as long as you reapply spf throughout the day and wear a hat you should be fine.

yes! just reapply sunscreen throughout the day and don’t exfoliate on the same day as using it. try to cover up with a hat and be in the shade as much as you can

Yes I was planning on doing it at night as the packaging stated that thank you for saying that though bc that wouldn’t be good if I used it in the morning. So if I use it at night and say 10-12 hours later it’s the day and I have to go out will I be okay just wearing sunscreen and shading as I can?
