I lost the presidential run in mine and was devastated at the time but honestly I realized eventually it was all for the best. It opened so many more opportunities for me and let me not stress about being on exec anymore. It does suck but it also doesn't matter. Next year you'll be a real adult don't let a social club define you

i get this, i didn’t get the position i deserved and they all said i deserved because “im too nice” and it would be hard for me if anyone got mad at me. this is my only year i could have a position

Tbh that's a stupid excuse and not a decision other people should make on your behalf. If you could do the job well then that's all they should worry about. Unfortunately it's basically a popularity contest and many girls don't think critically about it enough but it's def not worth letting get to you. I'm soooo glad I saw the light and didn't let myself peak in my sorority
