hi everyone! I wanted advice over COB. I didn’t feel at home during pref at reg recruitment so I dropped. I tried for a new sorority and didn’t get in. I really wanna do Greek life, but I got discouraged after that happened. any tips for COB?

i just did COB, it was pretty easy but maybe it depends on the school

my roommate did cob and reached out to chapters directly. it worked out for her well!

I got a COB from pi phi and I’m currently going through the new member process. I love it so much.

So we do formal and informal recruitment reversed so our informal is first semester and formal is second. Our houses do a bunch of open houses and I went and I clicked with the girls in pi phi the best and got a bid. Before those open houses I really did not want pi phi. My advice is even if you don’t think you’ll fit in there give it a chance because it might really surprise you. Also when going in be confident.

hope all works out! another good thing to do is make friends in different chapters and go though formal recruitment again next year if your school allows it! it helps you get your name out there and get letters of recommendation if that’s something your school does!
