i think the point is about how the jedi have lost their way and strayed from what their ideals claim and what they are meant to be over the course of their ever-closer relationship with the senate, particularly through the war, as well as how even someone who is thought to be one of the strongest bastions of the light side has not been unaffected by the sith’s far-reaching influence and control over the Force
