He might have been remorseful for a moment and apologized to her or something but he would have eventually killed her snd probably within the next few months. Her living through the childbirth wouldn’t have saved Anakin, he would have gotten angry about the whole situation and gone on ANOTHER murder spree, maybe killing palatine sooner, but still eventually killing her and likely searching for the kids and killing them as well.

Anakin was abusive and had always been a killer long before Palpatine came along. The only thing that made him redeemable was the clone wars because it showed him as an emotionally regulated adult.
