I think part of what ignited the fire for the Prequels is honestly the Clone Wars TV show and LucasFilm constantly pushing Prequel content that eventually people warmed up to it. Disney, I think, has let down the Sequels because they’ve absolutely given up on them. We had the Resistance show back in 2018 and some comics here and there and that’s pretty much it as far as post Sequels content.

I don’t think the sequels were necessary bad, they just lacked direction and suffered from lacking information found in places other than the movies

Even if you aren’t a big fan of them now, I wouldn’t be surprised if you change your mind years from now. Star Wars tends to age better over time. This is partly due to nostalgia, and also because of what comes after. There will be some newer form of Star Wars 10 years from now that everyone will hate, and then they will start to look at the sequels differently

I agree but also the sequels and direction Disney went has made me so disillusioned I don’t even keep up with stuff anymore…and also the prequels actually made sense they just had flaws…the sequels the whole story is kinda cooked (no offense to sequel fans)
