george lucas likes 1-3 more than 4-6. he actually didnt even show up to a new hope when it was first in theatres because he thought was going to fail. i love 1-3 way more bc despite the cornieness anakin is the best character in the entire franchise and luke is kind of boring and a mary sue imo. when you look at 1-3 like a soap opera with drama and emotions instead of a starwars trilogy i think you’ll like it much more.

I think there’s something to be said about the nostalgia of seeing the movie in theaters. I think all six of the movies are great, but I have a special fondness for Rogue One, because it was the first movie I got to see in theaters with my father for the first time, rather than him showing it to me.
