We knew Vader would show up tho, Maul knows of him in rebels. Plus why wouldn’t Vader come to hunt Darth Maul and two Jedi?

I don’t see why wouldn’t need to be in it. He always appears when inquisitors can’t do their job

Eh I think it’s good for the sake of world building, and also adding more depth to Vader. The way he moved in this really just shows how powerful he was.
