I think the setup for all the characters in the force awakens was very well done did they play it safe by basically making a new hope again yes but still they set up was there and the last Jedi basically just said nah let’s forget about all that and the rise or skywalker tried to redo everything that was messed up by adding more mess such a shame too as they were left an sequel trilogy focused on leia and the problems of making a new form of government from the ground up

Could the sequels have been better? Sure. But also I think they definitely could’ve been worse. I enjoy the sequel trilogy honestly. The Force Awakens is a really fun movie, and The Last Jedi is a well crafted film. The Rise of Skywalker definitely has a ton of problems, but it can still be fun to watch every now and then
