She may have questionable beliefs and said harmful things but she was right in the fact that other male co-stars had made similar, if not worse remarks and got away with it. The sexism and double standards in the industry is disappointing. However, I don’t understand why she’d want to come back anyway. It would just be so awkward…

“Being conservative in America is just like being Jewish in Nazi Germany” is A: more than a “questionable belief” and B: not at all similar to or worse than Pedro comparing ICE detention facilities to concentration camps (something literal Holocaust survivors continue to do), not to mention her COVID denial. This is not a case of sexism, this is a case of a woman being dangerously ignorant about the world.
