Without a doubt. MY probably slightly hotter take is that ANH barely scratches the top 5 Star Wars movies on a good day

The whole sequence in Jabba’s palace and the fight over the sarlacc pit was so fun and then everything with the Ewoks- RotJ is the best of the original trilogy in my opinion.

I think the Ewoks are goofy. Should’ve been Wookiees as originally planned. But they had to sell toys. ROTJ was pretty good. I don’t hate your take. I also think a new hope is overrated af

Yeah the original plan for ROTJ was to have wookiees instead of the Ewoks. I don’t have my source handy so unfortunately this is a “trust me bro” citation. But they were changed to the Ewoks for costuming budget and for selling toys. This is all based on my memory and I didn’t do further research before posting. So I welcome corrections/clarifications to my recollections.
