They’ve given no indication to this tho. When Billy and will were flayed, we saw the mind flayer enter them and also how their personalities would shift when they were under control, max has not shown anyyyy of these signs. However, I do think someone could be mind flayed because we see the black smoke a few times this season like it circling up the radio tower after it exits wills body (I believe it was will) so maybeee it did go enter someone else but I don’t think it was max

holly expelled black smoke in volume 2 after the demo was electrocuted, but we say no weird behavior in her
