Also bc hey no one will ever understand Will outside of the people who saw him go through it. He can never fully confide in outside relationships because he can never tell them what happened to him. And we're supposed to accept this as a happy ending for him?

Like it's such a devastating end for Will and I MEAN that. "He finally got his happy ending" he's smoking cigarettes and drinking at a bar at the ripe age of 18 with trauma too large to ever truly unpack, that he CANT unpack. Legal drinking age is 21.
