I almost prefer staring into brights, versus those aftermarket 42-inch lightbars that are showing up pickup grilles

Petition to remove the headlight brightness score from the NHTSA manufacturer performance evaluation sheet.

Realize that Newer cars always have brighter lights regardless… I drive a 2025 Honda and ppl always think I have my brights on but the bulbs are just new and super bright

You can flick your brights on then off real quick as a way to let the other driver know they need to turn their brights off If it’s a backroad or it’s really bad, even after I’ve signaled, I’ll honk. It endangers peoples’ lives

Instead of casting more and more photons downrange, hoping the bounce off non-retroreflective objects, any relying on human vision, why not follow the lead of self-driving cars and switching to night-vision, lidar/radar, and thermal sensors to present drivers with a multi-spectral display

They are too bright. It’s the manufacturers fault. But still blinding

You can replace the bulbs with ones that are less bright, they’ll last longer too

It rewards manufacturers for making brighter, bluer, lights

you need to adjust your headlights properly lol, all new cars have projector housings that have an adjustable level

That simply shouldn’t be a thing. I work in the automotive industry and people could not know any less about their vehicles, much less where their projector housing is or how to adjust it.

well by law it should be adjusted correctly out of the factory, but clearly these weren’t

The ai-enhanced night vision in the video has existed since 2019, see AN/PSQ-42 Enhanced Night Vision Goggle-Binocular (ENVG-B), but it’s still classified
