Traditional metal braces cost $3,000 to $7,000. Invisalign and ceramic braces go up in price from there. Veneers can be as a little as $250 per tooth and a full set at 5,000 (composite, porcelain is more expensive). Veneers are also less invasive and painful as braces. Crowns are more expensive, and horrible for your teeth, so I agree braces > crowns, but in many cases it could very well be veneers > braces
Invasive probably isn’t the right word, but they’re just thin shells bonded on top of your teeth, and only require a slight amount of enamel removal. Braces are changing the position of every tooth, and jaw if you have a bite issue, require life long daily retainer wearing to keep results, years of pain and appointments, and frequently involve teeth reshaping through IRPs anyway
