Before you got those crowns or veneers, try braces first then get a professional teeth whitening treatment. Y’all would be surprised how many of y’all have nice, natural teeth. Plus braces + whitening is waaaay more affordable

Traditional metal braces cost $3,000 to $7,000. Invisalign and ceramic braces go up in price from there. Veneers can be as a little as $250 per tooth and a full set at 5,000 (composite, porcelain is more expensive). Veneers are also less invasive and painful as braces. Crowns are more expensive, and horrible for your teeth, so I agree braces > crowns, but in many cases it could very well be veneers > braces

where did you get the idea that crowns are bad for your teeth? if you don’t need them you shouldn’t get them (obviously) but it’s normal to get them if your teeth are decaying

In what world are veneers less invasive than braces

Invasive probably isn’t the right word, but they’re just thin shells bonded on top of your teeth, and only require a slight amount of enamel removal. Braces are changing the position of every tooth, and jaw if you have a bite issue, require life long daily retainer wearing to keep results, years of pain and appointments, and frequently involve teeth reshaping through IRPs anyway
