To (wmost likely) racist #5, No I did not I say I would think less of them, I said “they are basically saying they’re proud to be privileged, which is icky”. I will judge you, not necessarily think less of you. I don’t believe I’m superior to others or that anyone is inferior… unlike some of you apparently. Have fun ranting and raving to the void!
kendrick is a black man. being black in america or really anywhere to be honest, should be something that’s celebrated due to the historic context of enslaved black people and racial injustice. as a white person, saying you’re proud to be white is inherently insulting to poc that have been forced to prove their place in our society, due to racism. imagine simply existing and people thinking your life is worth less due to the color of your skin. white people in america don’t have to experience it
You’ve lost me here. Completely. If black people can be proud of their skin color than so can white people. And I am. You a are a grade A libtard my friend. And that’s coming from a liberal. Your literally trying to guilt trip an entire majority demographic of the country for what only some of their ancestors did. You can be proud to be black, brown, white, whatever else! As an atheist I never thought I would say this but by god only the lord can help you now.
I’m white. And when white people say “I’m proud to be white” they are basically saying they’re proud to be privileged, which is very icky. Now if you said “I’m proud to be x” x being German, Italian, Irish, polish, British, then that makes sense. Then you’re saying you’re proud of your heritage. A lot of black people cant do that bc they don’t know where they originated from (google slavery), so they can’t say “I’m proud to be Ghanaian” or something like that, so they say “black”
Your telling me, and I’m not twisting your word here, that I (#3) can’t be proud of my skin color because it lacks the pigment melanin. Dont tell me what not to be proud about. There are a LOT of white people here who don’t know their ancestry either. We are a nation of immigrants for Christ sake. And I’m not even one of these people. I’m 2nd gen Italian. My ma is from Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
