According to the Bible, it is good because it literally endorses slavery. Especially Leviticus 25: 44-46, Exodus 21: 20-21

Well we are slaves to Christ so really it would be hypocritical to denounce it.

The Bible doesn’t explicitly condemn it and Atheist morons use that to say that Christianity supports slavery.

No, the bible just explicitly tells people to own slaves lol

Really? Here’s Levictus 25: 44-46: 44 “‘Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. 45 You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property. 46 You can bequeath them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly

Here’s Exodus: 20 “Anyone who beats their male or female slave with a rod must be punished if the slave dies as a direct result, 21 but they are not to be punished if the slave recovers after a day or two, since the slave is their property.

So according to the Bible, I can beat and torture my slave as much as I want as long as they do not die, which is my property, and I am the slave master.

So why doesn’t the Bible condemn slavery? Humans owning other humans.

Let me ask, is it ever good to own people as property without consent, or tell others to own people as property without those people’s consent?

Can you quote Exodus 21:4 for me? You can accuse me as much as you’d like but the very least you could engage with me as a person

So why does Exodus 21 say I can beat my slaves as long as they don’t die within 1-2 days? Why does Exodus 21 say that the slave is property?

And yet God regulated slavery? Which means he condones and endorses slavery.

I asked if you can consent to being a slave if you’re born into it. I didn’t ask if God regulated slavery, which he would still have to somewhat permit if he did, I didn’t ask about how christians pretend they were the only group fighting to end slavery when there’s letters from christian’s advocating for it Answer what I asked

I didn’t ask if consent is given by another party. Yes or no can you consent into being a slave if you are born into it? Slave is the word used in multiple translations btw, facts over feelings type thing
